We are DARF

Dogs and cats make you smile. The way they jump up to meet you at home, roll on their backs when you pet them or how they run after their favourite ball. It makes us very happy. But only if our four-legged friends are too. And that is why we give our dogs and cats fresh meat. Ready-made in sausages and kibble. It's that simple.

Raw food for dogs and cats

and grinds for your own convenience to dog food throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. That’s how DARF was born and how it became what it is today. From our own butcher shop, De Slagerij Amersfoort. Purely because it is so much easier to feed in fine grinds. We initially only fed KVV to our own dogs, but soon to all our friends’ dogs too. And that is how DARF grew.

From the BARF method

All our products are formulated according to this method, giving your four-legged friend the variety he needs. Think of venison, salmon, beef, goat or chicken. Our chemist, Alexander, ensures careful compositions and also develops special diets. This way we can serve your dog the best BARF dog food every day.

Delivery

Our drivers drive around with refrigerated fresh food all week long. Every day in a different postcode area. From the Netherlands to Belgium and Germany. This means we are in your area on one set day. Why we don’t offer next day delivery? Because our trucks have to be on the road even more often and this causes extra emissions.

That is why we work together with an insurance company that plants a tree for every CO2 emission. This way, we work on eco-conscious delivery. Do you only order dry food? In order to spare our refrigerated trucks and drivers, we send orders of just dry food (snacks, kibble and similar products) by post every day.
